PHINDA PRIVATE GAME RESERVE
Located in the KwaZulu Natal Province of South Africa, Phinda is an award winning game reserve that has come to be synonymous with bespoke and luxurious safari experiences in this area. The reserve is home to the Big 5 and an impressive number of tropical and aquatic bird species.
Within the reserve there are four distinct habitats, which makes it such an excellent safari destination. One is able to experience woodland, grassland, wetland and forest. Phinda has its own airstrip and is regularly serviced by flight between Johannesburg and the Greater Kruger area, which makes it very easily accessible and also an easy combination for a safari combination with the Greater Kruger Private Reserves. If you prefer to be transferred in by road or even self-drive, the reserve is only a 3-hour drive from King Shaka International Airport in Durban.
