On this page you will find information about different liveaboards for reef diving, a specific shark diving liveaboard that visits Tiger Beach and its environs.
Jump on board for a cruise around the 350 paradisical islands of the Exumas and Eleuthera. The Exumas have been a National Park since 1958. The rich underwater areas are inhabited by sharks, rays, turtles, and nurseries of all sorts, and the underwater landscapes are made up of coral reefs, sponges, mangroves, and a few wrecks. The spectacular waters of the Exumas have numerous famous sites: Angelfish Blue Hole, Mystery Cave, Crab Cay Crevasse, Amberjack Reef, and Cave Rock to name but a few. The Exumas Land and Sea Park is often called an aquarium. The exceptional clarity and the bright colours of its waters allow visitors to see abundant life: sponges, corals, Sgt Majors, jacks, groupers, yellowtail snappers, rays turtles, stingrays, and sharks. There are walls, drop-offs, passes, fast drift dives and easy coral gardens. With more than 100 sites, there is plenty to keep the diver busy. Within the archipelago, there are almost 70 shark species. Caribbean reef sharks and nurse sharks are seen on numerous sites, notably at Amberjack Reef and a coupleof sites near Eleuthera where passive shark feeds occur. At Cave Rock Hammerheads are often seen. Bull sharks, Lemon sharks, Whale sharks and tiger sharks are occasionally sighted.
We work with four boats that visit the Exumas, offering a large variety of dives; shark feeding dives, blue holes, high speed drift dives, walls and shallow patch reefs. Each week they cruise from Nassau, Bahamas to the remote islands of the Exumas, and especially the Exuma Cays Land and Sea Park.
