Mermaid I Liveaboard
Mermaid I Liveaboard in Indonesia is a 28m luxurious vessel with double engine steel motor yacht, purpose-built for diving and the flagship vessel of the celebrated Mermaid fleet. She comfortably accommodates up to 15 guests in 8 air-conditioned, en-suite cabins, which have iPads, refrigerators, bathrobes, toiletries and loads of fluffy towels. You can be assured of a fantastic night’s rest on a quality, hotel style innerspring bed with a base, fitted with minimum 300 thread count bed linens. 220-volt power is standard throughout the boat, supplied via standard North American and European style sockets. 110-volt adapters are available.
Delicious meals based on Thai, Indonesian and Western cuisine are served in the “Sawasdee Restaurant”, with large windows to enjoy the incredible views. Don’t forget to try one of Mermaid I’s delicious BBQs!
Between and after dives, guests can relax in the air-conditioned saloon, equipped with a TV, DVD player and music centre. There is also an extensive library and full range of marine life identification books. There are two outdoor decks – a shaded one with comfortable seating and the fabulous sundeck with cushioned sunbeds. They are great for enjoying the spectacular scenery, chatting with your fellow divers or taking a nap.
Her huge dive deck and wide stern dive platform with two exit ladders and fresh water showers are a diver’s dream. Photographers will undoubtedly appreciate the six camera rinse tanks. Nitrox is available on all trips. There is no additional cost for a 15 litre tank or 15 litre Nitrox fill, subject to availability. In addition to her popular Bali-Komodo-Bali trips, she also cruises to the spectacular destinations of Raja Ampat, Ambon, Banda Sea, Alor, Lembeh and Triton Bay.
