Carpe Diem
The M/Y Carpe Diem luxury liveaboard is a 35m yacht and sister ship to the Carpe Vita and Carpe Novo on the Indian Ocean. With a focus on superior service and quality, Carpe Diem Maldives provides highly trained and dedicated staff to ensure the ultimate diving holiday. Carpe Diem has 10 cabins spread out over three decks to accommodate up to 20 guests. Each spacious cabin features individual climate control and en suite bathrooms.
The salon and lounge area are equipped with a flat-screen TV and entertainment system. There are also three stunning decks where guests can relax and enjoy spectacular views of the Indian Ocean. All seating areas provide stylish, comfortable seating and loungers. Guests enjoy semi buffet-style meals prepared by a fine-dining chef in an open-air dining and bar area located at the back of the boat. On the very top is the 115 square-meter sun deck, which is partially covered & is used for both sunning and lounging. The upper deck hosts the main dining area & bar, a reading area & library, studio with internet & business centre facilities, plus an alfresco dining alternative. You'll also find find the 2 large suites here. Outside of the lounge area there is another sitting area in the shade with comfortable, cushioned chairs.
On the main deck you'll find a fully equipped bar & lounge, which offers flat screen TV, DVD/MP3 player, in house sound system, sitting/dance area plus the activities deck and two large double cabins. The 6 twin cabins are all on the.lower deck.
Diving is done from the dhoni, meaning plenty of extra room on board. Carpe Diem offers a variety of European & International Cuisine – including Maldivian, Thai & Indian specialties. The wine menu features wines from around the world.
The Carpe Diem offers year-round dive cruises to the best dive sites in the Maldives. The experienced, local dive staff will work to show divers everything from pelagics like mantas, sharks and whale sharks to tiny shrimps, nudibranchs, and ghost pipefish. Most dive itineraries aboard Carpe Diem include stops at Kudarah Thila, Manta Point, Maaya Thila, Fish Head, and Machafushi wreck just to name a few.
